THIS YEAR'S DESIGNATED CHARITY

The Rolphie Fund has been in existence for seven years and is in honor of Rolph Karker who died in a motorcycle accident prior to the start of
the fund.  Rolph and his wife Linda were small business owners and were extremely generous to the less fortunate children of Schoharie County by hosting a Christmas event each year.  The Rolphie Fund was subsequently created by Linda and their son Justin and their daughter Sarah with several events each year to help the children in need in Schoharie County.  100% of the contributions go to the children as governance of the program is totally voluntary.   As many of you who are reading this know, several communities in Schoharie County were devastated by Hurricane Irene.  They are still recovering from that natural disaster.  Many of those less fortunate children that this program helps, lost their homes in that flood.  We are pleased to choose this worthwhile organization in our 2012 commitment.  Kindly consider making a contribution to the fund by sending a check, in any amount, to The Rolphie Fund c/o Linda Karker 665 Bush Rd. Cobleskill, N.Y. 12043 or go to www.therolphierun.com and click on the Sponsor Tab and then click on make a donation.
