ANNUAL MEETING AND BOARD ELECTIONS

The Annual Meeting of NESBG and subsequent Board Meeting was held on November 8, 2012 at the Corporate Office in Chatham ( a change in venue due to a conflict in schedule). The Board of Directors were unanimously elected as presented and will serve until November 2014. Two new member categories were approved as was the new Long Term Care Program listed below. Dues in all other categories will remain the same for 2013. Discussion of the elections and potential impact on NESBG was discussed with the opinion that the Insurance Exchange would not have significant impact on NESBG. TWO NEW DUES CATEGORIES FOR 2013

Please be aware that not for profits (specifically Churches, Charities and Libraries) are complimentary and beginning with January 2013, if you are a veteran with an honorable discharge, the dues for your company will be 50% as a thank you for your service to our country. That would make the dues for a sole-proprietor $25 and for a 2+ company $37.50. These additions were approved at the Board of Directors Meeting on November 8th. Also approved was leaving the current dues structure in place with Sole-Proprietors at $50 and 2+ groups at $75.

NEW LONG TERM CARE PLAN WILL BE AVAILABLE SOMETIME IN THE FIRST QUARTER

The addition of this program was approved at the November 8th Board Meeting with final details being completed to implement the program. This will provide a discount on premiums for members of NESBG. Details will be included with the March billing and will be provided as part of the new member packet.

Refer a business who becomes a member and your next year's membership will be complimentary
Refer five businesses who become members and receive a lifetime membership
